Novi Sad the best European destination in 2016

Like it was announced in the press release of the National Tourism Organization of Serbia, the presence of Novi Sad on the list itself is an honor which enables the high visibility of tourist offer of the city of Novi Sad on the global level, which is being conducted by promotion of tourist attractions and potentials, considering the fact that the website of this organization from 2009 was visited more than 2.500.000 times, as well as the fact that it has more than 70.000 followers on social networks.

The win would be of exceptional significance for the development of tourist potentials and tourist offer of Novi Sad. The best example for that is the experience of last year’s winner, the French city Bordeaux. Namely, after winning the title, Bordeaux recorded the increase of number of foreign tourists from 10,7%, and its presence in media is increased by 74% compared to the 2014.
