Special permits, issued by the Hunting Association of Serbia, are necessary, while the determined fee is paid for the caught game. Mostly wild geese, ducks, pigeons, partridges, pheasant, deer, chamois, rabbits, fox are hunted. The braver ones can try big game hunting: wild boar, bear, wolf, wild cat or jackal.

Passionate fishermen will be overwhelmed by the rivers abounding in different kinds of fish, mostly indigenous species. The best are perch, trout, sturgeon, catfish, carp, pike… Fishing area is divided into 25 zones, among which rivers in Zlatibor area, rivers in Vojvodina and rivers around Timok are best known. You can also try your luck at lakes – Vlasina, Perućac, Carska Bara (Imperial pond)… Untouched nature, peace and quiet still found here make these places particularly attractive.

There are around 400 organizations and sport fishing clubs that can issue all necessary permits. Each permit also includes information such as regulations i.e. length of the fish, closed seasons, spawning time, allowed equipment and ways of fishing.

After you have got all the permits, you just have to take your gun or fishing rod and head for your destination dreaming of the next trophy.
