The most ATP Masters won, the highest earnings from tournaments and most consecutive titles on the American Tour. These are all the records held by a tennis ace and a man who never ceases to amaze us. We are, of course, talking about the athlete who writes the pages of tennis history with golden letters – Novak Đoković.

Yesterday, when he broke four records in a single day, there were mixed reactions. Some were shocked and amazed while others weren’t even slightly surprised. Everybody, however, agreed on one thing – Novak has complete domination over his competition. The current ATP rankings are best proof of this. Novak has more points than Andy Murray and Roger Federer combined!

Yes, it’s true! He’s leaving his rivals further and further behind, and getting closer and closer to the achieving the best scores and breaking new records. The next one on the list is winning the Roland-Garros, but until then… Let’s sum up all Novak’s achievements after the astounding Miami triumph!

Record No. 1: The historical 28th Masters title

After his victory in Miami, Nole passed Rafael Nadal and claimed first place for most Masters titles won. His name once again ranked first on the “eternal” list. With this triumph he also captured his sixth Miami title and record 28th Masters 1000 crown. Đoković holds the Florida tournament dear to his heart because his success story started from the 2007 Miami victory.

Record No. 2: The wealthiest tennis player in history

When it comes to ATP prize money earnings, Đoković surpasses his rivals as well. The Serbian tennis player is also dangerously close to the coveted 100 million dollar mark. Until that happens, Nole can spend his time enjoying his new record of  98,199,548 green dollar bills. By breaking this record he overtook the former ATP tour’s leading prize money winner Roger Federer leaving him at 97,885,881 dollars.

Record No. 3: The Golden American Tour

To “tie” four Indian Wells-Miami titles in a rownow that’s what you call success! This is considered to be one of the hardest challenges in tennis because it takes a lot of work, faith, commitment, tenacity, discipline… Novak Đoković demonstrated having all these attributes and thus became the first tennis player who completed the unprecedented four, and of them three straight, Indian Wells-Miami doubles.

Record No. 4: Shoulder to shoulder with Agassi

The only person to claim six trophies in Miami was Andre Agassi. And then came Novak Đoković! Yes, you’ve got it, this is yet another achievement for the “King of Miami”. After yesterday’s victory Nole leveled with  Agassi for the most Miami triumphs (six). We have absolutely no doubt that another world record will be broken next season.

Novak Đoković holds two Guinness records. The first record is for the most wins at the Australian Open, 6 of them in total – 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016. The other record is for the longest Grand Slam final in the history of tennis.

Of course, Novak won’t stop here. In the following months of year 2016 he has a number of important goals. Apart from the June finale of Roland-Garros, the Madrid and Rome tournaments await the World No. 1 racket. And according to Nole the thing that sets 2016 apart for him are the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. “One of my dreams, and one of my biggest inspiration in this point of my career is – the Olympic gold.”, Đoković told Blic sport.
