A restored Belgrade landmark where historic grandeur meets contemporary luxury.
A Belgrade Legend Reborn
Built between 1910 and 1912, The Bristol Belgrade emerged during the transformation of Savamala into one of the capital’s most prestigious quarters. Conceived by prominent merchant and philanthropist Luka Ćelović and designed by architect Nikola Nestorović, the monumental Art Nouveau building soon became a symbol of modern Belgrade and sophisticated urban life.
Throughout its history, the hotel welcomed diplomats, aristocrats, artists and other distinguished visitors. Members of the Rockefeller family, the British Royal Family and chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov are among the notable guests associated with its legendary past.
After an extensive restoration lasting more than two years, The Bristol reopened in 2025, beginning a new chapter while preserving the character of its original architecture. Its elegant rooms and suites blend decorative elements inspired by old Belgrade with contemporary comfort, while the light-filled atrium, intimate library, sophisticated dining spaces and tranquil spa create a complete luxury experience. Located close to the Sava River, Belgrade Waterfront and the historic city centre, The Bristol offers a rare opportunity to stay inside a carefully revived piece of Belgrade history.
