Goč, a slice of Mountain Heaven

Above one of the most popular tourist attractions in Serbia- Vrnjačka Banja, there is a mountain which scent of European beech will relax your senses, fresh air will refresh you and beauty of nature will blow your mind. Goč is the favourite destination for tourists in spring and summer, and during winter days it turns into a real paradise for recreational skiers.

Devious and narrow, road that leads from Vrnjačka Banja to Goč may not be the most pleasant one, but for sure represents an exciting adventure through the untouched nature which you cannot miss. A large number of vines, fields of plums and raspberries as well as a large amount of medical plants. That is why this destination is convenient for harvest of forest fruits and discovering many of plant species and groups.

From long walks, skiing and sightseeing of Goč, you always get hungry. Pleasant and warm hosts from Goc have the solution for that. Whatever time of the year you find yourselves here, you could buy home-made cheese, milk cream or pršuta. The unavoidable rakija šljivovica is also there, just like the jam and slatko.

The popular attractions of this mountain are also the ponds. Lovers of the fresh and home fish can enjoy the delicious trout. And that is not it. How to get to Goč?

Goč is 30 km Southeastern from Kraljevo and 202 km from Belgrade. Getting here is easy because there are two ways to get to Kraljevo the Belgrade-Niš motorway, and the exits for this city are at Batočina and Pojate.

There are also buses to Kraljevo from all the major cities of Serbia, and from Kraljevo you can get to Goč by bus.
