Traditional dishes, family-made wine and 130 years of winemaking heritage come together among the historic stone cellars of Rajac.
A Taste of Tradition Among the Wine Cellars
Among the stone wine cellars of the Rajačke Pimnice, around twenty kilometres south of Negotin, Pimnica Perić preserves a family tradition shaped by vineyards, wine and the generous tables of the Negotin region. For more than 130 years, the Perić family has cultivated grapes and made wine in this remarkable corner of eastern Serbia.
Food is an essential part of the experience. Gibanica, proja, kačamak, kajmak, cured meat, cracklings and traditional roasts are prepared according to recipes passed down through generations. Served with white, rosé and red wines from the family’s own vineyards, the meal becomes an introduction to the flavours and hospitality of the Negotin wine region.
The historic cellar, rustic dining spaces and terrace overlooking the surrounding landscape create an atmosphere that feels far removed from an ordinary restaurant. Guests come not only to eat, but to experience a living wine tradition in one of Serbia’s most distinctive rural settings.
