It is vital for the EU to come up with a clear political position when it comes to resolving the migrant crisis, Serbian Minister of Social Policy Aleksandar Vulin said Sunday.

“A solution to the migrant crisis is not yet in sight. Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic was able to say in Davos that Serbia had done a lot of good work in tackling the issue. Just as he said, we can do everything, but you need to give us a political solution, and the EU is not yet ready to go out with a clear political stance,” Vulin told Belgrade-based RTV Pink.

Vulin said that the EU was now facing the most difficult challenge since its establishment and it was uncertain what might happen if it failed in finding an answer to the problem and imposing the same rules on all its member-states.
