Serbia’s best female athlete Ivana Spanovic won the first place in the women’s long jump event at the Serbian Open Indoor Meeting in Belgrade late on Tuesday.
Spanovic did not reach the seven-meter mark she hoped for, but a 6.85m jump was enough for gold.
Slovakia’s Jana Veldakova stood second with a jump of 6.29m, while Sweden’s Erica Jarder was third with 6.28m.
Serbia’s Sara Lukic was seventh (5.49m), and Sanja Ristovic was eighth (5.30m).
