Sleep Beneath Tara’s Stars
Hidden in the village of Rastište, deep within Tara National Park, Glamping Tara offers a different way to experience one of Serbia’s wildest mountains. Instead of a conventional hotel room, guests stay inside contemporary geodesic domes surrounded by forests, open landscapes and the profound stillness of western Serbia.
The property consists of two luxury domes, each designed with a panoramic glass window that brings the surrounding scenery directly into the interior. Two king-size beds, a private bathroom, kitchenette and dining area provide the comforts of a holiday home, while air conditioning and underfloor heating make the experience possible throughout the year.
Beyond the domes, Rastište provides access to some of Tara’s most remarkable landscapes. Hiking trails, the viewpoints of Banjska Stena and Bilješka Stena, Lake Perućac, Zaovine and the dramatic Drina Canyon are all part of the wider experience. Evenings, however, belong to the quiet of the mountain – watching the light disappear over the forest and the stars emerge above the transparent dome.
