Serbian Agriculture Minister Snezana Bogosavljevic-Boskovic met with Turkish Ambassador to Serbia Mehmet Kemal Bozay in Belgrade Wednesday to discuss continuation of cooperation between the two countries in the fruit processing sector and potential Turkish investment in the area.

According to a release from the Agriculture Ministry, Bogosavljevic-Boskovic and Bozay also discussed Serbia’s participation at the EXPO 2016 Antalya International Horticultural Exposition and the possibility of starting a new project to build a regional fruit distribution center in Serbia.

Bozay expressed satisfaction about Serbia’s interest in participating at EXPO 2016 Antalya, adding that Turkey would do everything to contribute to Serbia’s presentation at the event.

Bozay also said that a leading Turkish investors wanted to invest in building a fruit processing plant in Serbia.
