Changing tax regulations should be a reform priority of a new Serbian government, the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED) gave this recommendation in its 10th annual assembly held at the National Bank of Serbia on Wednesday.

They also pointed out that the implementation of the national anti-grey economy plan should start as soon as possible, straight upon the forming of the new government.

In the coming period, Serbia should step up its competitiveness, go up on the World Bank’s Doing Business list, combat the grey economy, improve the business environment, cut the red tape, dedicate more attention to public-private partnerships, the training and professionalization of public servants and reform the health care financing system, NALED said.

In today’s meeting, NALED presented the Serbian government and the Business Registers Agency with e-permitting software.
