The presidency of the Serbian People’s Party (SNP) made a unanimous decision on Wednesday to join forces with the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) for the forthcoming general elections.

SNP leader Nenad Popovic told Tanjug the parties had also determined the principles underlying their collaboration before and after the elections.

“The main principles for which the SNP will advocate, in cooperation with the SNS, will be to maintain Serbia’s military neutrality, boost Serbia-Russia economic and political relations, strive to keep Kosovo-Metohija within Serbia and support the sovereignty of Republika Srpska in line with the Dayton principles,“ Popovic said.
