The government will on Tuesday officially announce its Year of Entrepreneurship programme, aimed at boosting entrepreneurship in Serbia, Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic said Friday, noting that allocation of funds will be completely transparent.

At a conference on the role of local self-government authorities in boosting the investment climate, Sertic said that the state will present what it is doing to encourage entrepreneurship and what it will focus on in the year declared by the government as the Year of Entrepreneurship.

“Entrepreneurship is a matter of freedom to express your wish to create something and make it serve the interests of your family,” Sertic said.

Entrepreneurship is “a philosophy of life,” he said.

“As the government, we are initiating this and putting it on the agenda,” he noted.
