The Hague Tribunal has not yet informed Serbia about the date when a verdict will be read out to leader of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Vojislav Seselj, but said this could be expected by March 31, Rasim Ljajic, president of the national council for cooperation with this tribunal, said on Monday.

Ljajic told TV Pink that Serbia would decide on the Tribunal’s request for Seselj to be present during the reading of the verdict after receiving it, underlining that Serbia would meet its international obligations and adhere to its law, but would also have to take care about the overall stability in the country and society.

Asked about SRS officials charged with contempt of court, Ljajic said that Serbia had proposed to the Tribunal that they be tried in the country.
