The international community backed Belgrade’s plan for the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) as it recognized its interest in that proposal, Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric said.

In an interview to the Zvecan-based broadcaster Most, he described the fact that the international community had accepted and supported the plan for the Community as “our diplomatic success”.

He said that the policy of the Serbian government was based on building greater stability, mutual understanding and normalizing relations.

Serbia has managed to garner support for the Community and to show to the most influential people in the world that the Community is not directed against anyone, its sole goal being to help Serbs survive in Kosovo, Djuric said.
