Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic Monday met with ministers, the director of the Public Enterprise Putevi Srbije and the Belgrade mayor to discuss measures to take to ensure energy stability and good maintenance of Serbia’s transportation networks.

According to the government’s press office, Vucic met with Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Zorana Mihajlovic, Energy and Mining Minister Aleksandar Antic, Putevi Srbije Director Director Zoran Drobnjak and Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali, and they in particular discussed measures to take during the day to make sure all systems are ready for freezing rain, which is expected to fall in the evening.

It is necessary to take all measures to ensure more efficient work of competent services to overcome the problems caused by heavy snowfall and strong gusts of wind, the participants in the meeting agreed.
