Fish Fest

The gastronomic and cultural manifestation “Fish Fest” will take place from August 5th to September 8th on the plateau near the Nebojša Tower in Belgrade.
This festival was created in order to remind visitors of the importance of the Sava and the Danube. The central event will be the competition in preparing fish soup. Top chefs from the region will be prepared fish soup and dishes of Mediterranean and Bosnian cuisine. They will present their skills, as well as local restaurants and famous wineries from around Serbia.
Visitors will also be able to try their luck in fishing competition, while numerous writers, actors, singers and all lovers of river and fish specialties will participate in the side program.
Music program will be organized every evening. Local bands Gama, Crvena jabuka will perform on Thursday, September 5th, on Friday – Apsolutno romantično and Plutonia. Garavi sokak, Rok bulevar and Nevreme will perform on Saturday, September 7th while the bands Milagro bend, Marich Brothers bend and Texas Flood will close the festival at Sunday.
During the four days of the festival, there will also be provided free boat trip with Yacht Club Key boat, with departures at 4pm, 6pm and 8pm.
