Serbian Social Policy Minister Aleksandar Vulin has said that Serbia has sufficient capacity for reception of migrants.

During a visit he paid to the temporary asylum seekers reception center in Krnjaca near Belgrade on Sunday, Vulin told reporters that all migrants coming from war-affected areas could move and travel through Serbia normally.

Serbia is still providing food, housing and medical care, as appropriate, to migrants, he said.

“The migrants are transported to reception center in the Sid and are leaving our territory without much problem. All economic migrants, those who by decision of Slovenia and Croatia are unwelcome in these countries, cannot continue their movement through our country,” Vulin said.

Vulin said that anyone who wanted to apply for asylum in Serbia could exercise that right, regardless of the country they came from.
