The policy of the Aleksandar Vucic-led government is that Serbia is not going to join any military alliance. It is military neutral and will remain so, Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy Aleksandar Vulin said on Thursday.

Together with a NATO delegation, led by Vice-President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Thomas Michael Jopling, Vulin toured a migrant reception center in Adasevci, saying on the occasion that Serbia would cooperate with everyone who could help it be more safe and secure, and would not become part of any military alliance.

Jopling said that he understood very well that the Serbian people and government would not like to be part of the North Atlantic Alliance, but underscored it had certain non-military services, which could be of assistance to Serbia – police, firefighters, medical teams.
