In 2015, all payments by the Serbian Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy were regular, there were no cuts in social welfare payments, the unemployment rate fell, and over RSD 100 billion is planned to be paid next year, Labor and Social Policy Minister Aleksandar Vulin said while presenting the annual report on his ministry’s work on Sunday.

A total of RSD 101 billion has been earmarked for the ministry, and 97 percent of the budget is intended to be paid to the beneficiaries of its services, roughly 3.3 million citizens, in 2016, said Vulin.

He stressed that the unemployment was dropping, debts were being settled and a comprehensive control against all kinds of abuse had continued.
