Serbian Finance Minister Dusan Vujovic said after the end of an International Monetray Fund (IMF) mission’s visit to Serbia Friday that our country could rely on full professional and institutional support from that financial institution and that Serbia was confirmed to be on the right track.

Vujovic said that, as things stood now, at the end of a three-year program that Serbia had concluded with the IMF in February 2015, he expected to soon see public finances full recovered and stabilized.

“We have the confirmation from the IMF that we are on the right track. We will carry on with our reforms,” the minister told a news conference in Belgrade, adding that the visit of the IMF mission had ended with a positive outcome.

He added that the Serbia had received good criticism at the Western Balkans Investment Summit at the EBRD headquarters in London.

Vujovic said that the next step was moving on with the implementation of the rightsizing and structural reforms plans.
