Convincing Hutchinson to come to Serbia was no easy task as they had also been considering Macedonia, Bulgaria and Turkey, he said.
“I am happy that you have chosen Serbia because Serbia is the best place for investments,” he said.
Vucic thanked French Ambassador Christine Moro for her support, adding that the opening of the factory could mean a renaissance of Serbia-France trade relations.
“I hope that the trade volume can reach EUR 1 bln in the next two years,” he said.
The plant, which will hire 200 people, will manufacture radiator hoses for carmakers such as Mercedes-Benz, Fiat, Suzuki and Renault.
Vucic took a tour of the plant with the factory management, putting an autoclave into service.
