Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Tuesday evening that the job of dismissing Bratislav Gasic as defense minister would be completed in January, just as he had promised, adding that it was possible that there were candidates for that position.

Asked by journalists whether there were any signs of progress in dismissing Gasic and finding someone to replace him as defense minister, Vucic said that the job would be done, as promised, in January.

“It is possible that we have candidates,” Vucic told a news conference held after talks he had with the SPS-PUPS-JS coalition in Belgrade today, stressing that everything would be done as he had promised it would.
