How to travel to Serbia?
By plane
If you wish to travel to Serbia by plane, you should know there are three international airports in Serbia. The largest and most important is the Nikola Tesla airport in Belgrade. The second largest are the Constantine the Great airport in Niš and the Priština airport.
Air Serbia is the national airline company, but there are also numerous other carriers flying to and from Serbia.
The “Nikola Tesla” airport in Surčin is located 18 km from the centre of Belgrade. The airport is equipped to operate in all weather conditions.
The bus line number 72 of the public transportation commutes regularly on the route Nikola Tesla airport – Zeleni venac, Belgrade.
A private mini-bus line A1 is also on your disposal. The mini-bus commutes between Slavija square in the center of Belgrade and Nikola Tesla airport. The ticket price for the mini-bus is 250 dinars (about 2,5 euro).
There is a taxi stop at the airport. The price of taxi transportation from the airport to the city centre is approximately 1,000 dinars (10 Euros).

Driving to Serbia
If you prefer to travel by car, Serbia has well-developed road system and it is connected to all parts of Europe.
Serbia is located on Pan-European Corridor 10 which is the shortest route between central/western and southernmost Europe.
Belgrade is located at the intersection of the European E-70 and E-75 highways, highways E-75 and E-80 intersect in Niš, and highways E-80 and E-65 intersect in Priština.
Foreigners in Serbia are required to have an international driver’s license, traffic permit and an insurance policy (green card).
Road Toll is paid on the following highways: E-70 Subotica – Novi Sad, E-75 Novi Sad – Belgrade, E-70 Šid – Belgrade, E-75 Belgrade – Niš and E-75 Niš – Leskovac. By ship
Belgrade is situated on the confluence of the Sava into the Danube. All major river transport corridors lead through Belgrade, and numerous international travel agencies offer Danube cruising which makes it easy to travel to Serbia by ship.

Taxi
In all bigger cities in the country there are various taxi associations. A proper cab can be recognized by a taxi sign on the vehicle with the number and logo of its association.
There are numerous taxi stands around any city, and you can catch a cab in the street as well. You can also call any taxi association and have a cab pick you up at a desired time and location.
Rent-a-car
In Serbia you can rent a car in every larger city and in airports. There are numerous international and local rent-a-car agencies.
