The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will hold a regular meeting on Kosovo on Monday evening, at which Serbia will be represented by Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic.

The UNSC will consider UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s latest quarterly report on the activities of UNMIK and the situation in Kosovo, due to be presented by UNMIK Chief Zahir Tanin.

In his address, Dacic will discuss the report for the period between October 16, 2015 to January 15, 2016 and present Belgrade’s position on the current situation in Kosovo-Metohija and the activities of UNMIK, the foreign ministry said in a statement.

In the report, Ban expressed concern over the use of violence and inflammatory rhetoric by Kosovo opposition parties which contributed to some delays in the implementation of the Brussels deal, concerning the Community of Serb Municipalities in particular.
