Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic said Saturday, on the occasion of International Volunteer Day, that volunteers were helping make Serbia a better and nicer place to live and that the ministry would try to ensure more money was there to support the work of youth volunteer camps.

Udovicic said that in 2015, the Ministry of Youth and Sports allocated three times more money than usual to support volunteering in Serbia and that 400 young people, more than half of whom from abroad, had completed volunteer training programs in Serbia.

Udovicic said that the ministry would do everything to make more money available to support the participation of young people in volunteer camps.
