Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Lilianne Ploumen delivered four ambulance vehicles and close to 4,000 sleeping bags to the Serbian border-town of Sid to help Serbia address migrants’ needs on Tuesday.

The Dutch donation was handed to the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia.

After visiting the railway station in Sid, Ploumen said that all stakeholders across the board had to work together to ensure that the refugees passing through Serbia were well taken care of.

Ploumen visited the aid checkpoints in Adasevci and Sid earlier today.

I am in Serbia for the first time in Serbia, and I am talking to representatives of the Serbian government and the people about how we can help in taking care of refugees passing through Serbia, Ploumen told journalists.
