Social Democratic Party (SDS) leader Boris Tadic has said that the party “has reached no agreement” with the Democrats (DS) and the Liberal Democrats (LDP) on forming a joint electoral list, adding that Monday is the final deadline for a deal.

Tadic said this in a statement to B92 after the TV station reported that the three opposition parties had agreed on forming a “Democratic Serbia-DS-LDP-SDS” electoral list headed by Dragoljub Micunovic, who was the first president of the re-established DS.

Sources in all three parties confirmed that a successful meeting had taken place, but their leaders officially said meanwhile that such a conclusion is precipitate, the B92 said.

“No agreement has been reached. The discussions will continue,” Tadic said.

DS leader Bojan Pajtic posted on Twitter that the potential coalition partners will meet again on Sunday.
