Police downsizing is not an easy job, but has to be carried through because the only alternative to the move is a tax increase for citizens, Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said on Monday.
Replying to reporters’ questions after the celebration of the Day of the Criminal Police Academy, Stefanovic said that the authorities will continue with the downsizing process in an effort to meet the government requirement for the maximum number of public sector employees.
