Stefanović also said that by Slovenian reducing the flow of people to 2000 per day, migratory movement is being slowed, having pointed out that Serbia would, if that decision remained unchanged and these flows continue, take measures to protect Serbia.
Slovenian Ministry of Internal Affairs notified Croatia that the flow had been reduced to about 2000 people per day, Stefanović said for RTS.
„About 8000 people come to Serbia, and we can send 2000 people further which means that we are left with 6000 people in our country. Over the course of 5 days, we would have between 20.000 and 30.000 people who would stay here, and that is why we are asking for a solution from Europe“, Stefanović pointed out.
He noted that „Slovenia and Albania, not just threatened to close their borders, they haven’t officially done that, but the walls have already been risen, so, wire fences are already being risen and the flow is reduced”.
Minister confirmed that Sitting of the Bureau for Coordination of Security Services is being held today and announced that he would propose to Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić what Ministry of Internal Affairs could do, and is on the Prime Minister to make a decision.
