Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic on Thursday met with Turkish Ambassador to Serbia Mehmet Bozay, who introduced Turkey’s new police attache.
Stefanovic and Bozay agreed that the police attache, who will serve a one-year term at the Turkish embassy in Belgrade, will help improve the already good cooperation between the two interior ministries regarding the issue of the migrant crisis and fighting all forms of organised crime, with emphasis on terrorism and narcotics trade.
They expressed satisfaction with the progress in Serbia-Turkey cooperation and economic ties in particular, noting that there is room to expand the cooperation, the Serbian Interior Ministry press bureau said in a statement.
