Serbia’s real gross domestic product (GDP) grew 2.2 percent in Q3 of 2015 against a year earlier, the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia said in a release Monday.

Based on seasonally adjusted data, Serbia’s GDP in Q3 fell 0.4 percent against Q2.
Y-o-y, Q3 real gross value added grew 18.3 pct in construction, 8.3 pct in industry and water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation, and 5.0 pct in financial and insurance activities.

Y-o-y, Q3 saw real growth of 0.8 pct in general government final consumption expenditure, 10.1 pct in gross fixed capital formation, 8.8 pct in exports of goods and services and 5.4 pct in imports of goods and services.

Real fall was observed with final consumption expenditure of households – 0.6 pct and final consumption expenditure of non-profit institutions serving households (NPISH) – 2.0 pct.
