A Serbian delegation, led by Central Bank Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic and comprised of representatives of the finance ministry and the central bank, are taking part in the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) in Washington.

In the meetings with IMF representatives, the delegation will present the results achieved so far in the implementation of the fiscal consolidation and measures of the monetary and financial policy within the agreed economic program supported by the current stand-by arrangement.

The delegation is also to meet with WBG representatives to review the cooperation on the current program – the Strategic Framework for Partnership with the Republic of Serbia.

Besides this, the spring meetings will be an opportunity for the Serbian delegation to talk with investors, credit rating agencies, global corporate banks and international financial institutions.

The spring meetings of the IMF and the WBG are taking place from April 12 to 17.
