Businesses from Serbia are interested in the cooperation with Belarusian companies and expansion in the market, and the governments of the two countries will do everything to help them in that, it was said in a meeting of the business council of the chambers of commerce of Serbia and Belarus.

Over 100 businessmen and agricultural producers – representatives of around 40 firms from Serbia are taking part in the business forum and bilateral talks with representatives of Belarusian companies on Tuesday and Wednesday, in an effort to establish and improve the cooperation.

On Monday, the economic delegation led by Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic first visited a construction site, where the minister laid a cornerstone for the complex named after Serbia’s famous painter Paja Jovanovic.

The project is worth more than EUR 3.5 billion and engages over 200 engineers.
