Serbian Finance Minister Dusan Vujovic and South Korean Ambassador to Serbia Lee Do-Hoon on Friday signed on behalf of the two countries an agreement on avoidance of double taxation of income, aimed at encouraging more efficient business cooperation.
The agreement is expected to take effect on January 1, 2017, by which time it must be adopted in both national parliaments.
The agreement is a significant contribution to improving bilateral economic and financial cooperation between Serbia and the Republic of Korea, the Serbian Ministry of Finance said in a statement.
