Serbian Justice Minister Nikola Selakovic has said that the Security Service Coordination Bureau has fully prepared all operational plans to implement in case Austria, Germany and Slovenia closed their state borders.

Selakovic said after a meeting of the Bureau on Tuesday evening that “we will not wrap our country in barbed wire and various kinds of fences and walls.”

Selakovic said that the Bureau had also decided that the competent security services, particularly intelligence services, were to drastically step up their activities and enforce all necessary measures to protect people and property on the territory of Serbia.

The Bureau also analyzed the situation concerning security and stability in Republika Srpska, and possible responses and all available measures of protection in case of potential terrorist acts.
