U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott has said in Novi Pazar that the United States is open to new projects for the economic development of the city and surrounding areas.
“We are looking for new opportunities, although the approved programs for economic development are still ongoing,” Scott told reporters on Thursday, adding that the U.S. was considering ways to assist Serbia’s entrepreneurship and textile industry.
He said he was proud of the partnership with Novi Pazar that had been carried out through USAID.
“I take pride in our partnership, in what we could do to help this city and region, but I also look forward to our partnership for the future,” Scott said, adding that he had been in Serbia for just two months, and this was his first visit to Novi Pazar.
