The Kosovo police arrested Albin Kurti, founder of radical opposition movement Self-Determination, and another 87 activists, leaving four people injured – two policemen and two members of the movement.
The arrest warrants for Kurti and three more MPs of the Self-Determination were issued by the Basic Court in Pristina after months of disrupting parliament by firing tear gas and staging other incidents inside the assembly hall and provoking riots in the streets.
The opposition is against the implementation of the Brussels agreement on formation of the Community of Serb municipalities and border demarcation with Montenegro.
