Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic believes a solution will be found for the blockade of trucks that have been waiting at the administrative line between central Serbia and Kosovo for days, but could not specify when this would happen.

We are working with both Brussels and Pristina, Vucic replied to reporters after touring a school in Koceljeva.

“I cannot go into detail. We are making a comprehensive effort to solve the issue. At this moment, I cannot say whether this will happen today or in seven days,” the prime minister said.

The authorities in Pristina are not allowing entry to trucks from central Serbia carrying hazardous substances – oil and gas.

The Kosovo authorities have described the measures as reciprocal, and the Serbian government has said that Pristina is violating the CEFTA agreement and that Belgrade is in constant contact with Brussels over the matter.

The blockade, which causes major damage, lasts for six days.
