Provincial and local elections will be held simultaneously with parliamentary elections, Vojvodina Assembly Speaker Istvan Pastor and Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic said in Novi Sad Friday.
Speaking at a joint press conference, they said that the provincial and local elections will be called for the date Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic sets on Friday as the date of early parliamentary elections.
Holding the elections simultaneously is the most profitable politically, economically and socially, they noted.
Pastor and Gojkovic confirmed that they will call the provincial and local elections on March 22 and early next week, respectively.
