Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic has extended Christmas greetings to all citizens who celebrate the holiday according to the Julian calendar, wishing that it brings them calm and understanding, the parliament said in a release.
“On behalf of the National Assembly and in my own name, I am wishing all citizens a Merry Christmas in the hope that the most joyous Christian holiday will bring peace, love and mutual understanding. May Christmas bring good health, joy and wellbeing into our homes. Peace be with you, Christ is born!”, reads the message.
