The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) will decide whether it will form a government on its own after the early parliamentary elections – if it is capable of doing so – or go into coalitions, says Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, adding that it is questionable whether it is wise for the SNS to become solely responsible for all difficult government decisions.

“All political combinations will be on the agenda when the elections are over and when we see the results, but I also think that the SNS leadership should consider well whether it is wise at this moment to push all other parties into the opposition and practically turn them against the SNS,” Nikolic told Vecernje novosti.

He said that he will back the SNS electoral list, that he wants the party to win and that he will help as much as he can.

“There is no one better on the political scene,” Nikolic noted.
