Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic is against the planned Republika Srpska (RS) referendum on the judiciary, says Nikolic’s adviser Ivan Mrkic.
Asked if Nikolic has taken a clear position regarding RS President Milorad Dodik’s intention to call a referendum, Mrkic told Danas that Nikolic shares Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic’s view on this matter.
“The President of Serbia agrees with the position of the Serbian government. The Serbian government has voiced its position on the referendum, and it is a position that is also shared by the President of the Republic,” Mrkic said.
