Mirabank Executive Board President Ilinca Rosetti stated on Wednesday that this Emirati bank has started its operations in Belgrade and already has its first clients, adding that it stands ready to finance major investments in Serbia – including foreign, domestic and UAE projects.
Rosetti told Tanjug that Mirabank is focused on corporate clients.
The primary objective of Mirabank is to support investments coming from the UAE, she said.
However, by its business model, Mirabank tends to be the first choice in corporate banking for the best companies, regardless if they are local or international, she said, adding that retail banking is not planned.
Mirabank intends to support whoever wants to provide and to create business opportunities in Serbia and to develop the market, and some of these projects come from the UAE, Rosetti said.
