Our goal and mission is for Serbia to be ranked among the first 30 countries on the World Bank’s (WB) ease of doing business list, Serbia’s Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlovic said Thursday.

“We have done an important job over the past year, as can be seen from Serbia jumping 32 spots on the Doing Business list. But this is not enough and the task for all of us is to have Serbia among the top 30 economies in the next (WB doing business) report,” Mihajlovic said at a meeting of a joint working group tasked with finding the best measures to improve Serbia’s ranking on that list.

The group also agreed a plan of action for effectively implementing programs planned to improve Serbia’s ranking, according to a release from the office of the Serbian deputy prime minister.
