European Parliament (EP) rapporteur on Kosovo Ulrike Lunacek said in her answer to head of the Serbian mission to the EU Dusko Lopandic’s letter of protest concerning the latest EP draft resoulution on Kosovo that it was in the interest of the sides to ensure that the agreements reached were fully implemented.

In late December, Lopandic called the draft prepared by Lunacek “one-sided and partial,” and “even critical of Serbia,” stressing that she had not urged for implementation of the agreements reached in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

Lunacek said in her letter to Lopandic that she would “work together with colleagues shadow rapporteurs on drafting compromise amendments” in January.

Lunacek stressed that neither Belgrade nor Pristina had implemented all of the agreements reached in the framework of the dialogue and it was in their interest to do so.
