Serbian Minister of Tourism, Trade and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic said on Tuesday that RSD 640 million has been earmarked for various infrastructure projects in tourism next year.

In 2015, RSD 570 million was spent for that purpose, said Ljajic, urging all local self-government authorities and tourism organisations to prepare projects in a timely manner so that works can start on time.

“This year, we have appealed ten times to local self-governments to submit the appropriate documentation in a timely manner so that project implementation can start,” he said during a visit to a children’s resort on Mt. Zlatibor.
