Social Democratic Party of Serbia (SDPS) leader Rasim Ljajic said that he met with Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Aleksandar Vucic early Sunday and that an electoral coalition at all levels was confirmed at the meeting.

The SDPS is very satisfied with the deal and the meeting with Vucic cleared all doubts that had existed in some municipalities, Ljajic told Tanjug.

“We will run together in nearly all municipalities in Serbia, except where agreements are in place to run separately in order to achieve the best possible results for both parties,” Ljajic said.

New Serbia also announced Sunday that it has reached an agreement with the SNS on forming a coalition with the party for the upcoming parliamentary, provincial and local elections.
