Serbia’s Dusan Lajovic lost 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) to Ryan Harrison of the United States in the first round of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Indian Wells tournament Friday.
Harrison will next face Croatia’s Marin Cilic.
The prize money at the tournament is USD 7.1 million.
Ivanovic, Flipkens defeated in Indian Wells doubles
INDIAN WELLS – Serbia’s Ana Ivanovic and Belgium’s Kirsten Flipkens lost 6-2, 6-2 to the Czech pair of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka in the first round of the Indian Wells women’s doubles tournament Friday.
Ivanovic was seeded in the opening round of the singles tournament and will face Camila Giorgi of Italy in the second round.
