Kosovo’s Minister for Communities and Returns Dalibor Jevtic has said that 704 displaced people returned to Kosovo in 2015, 340 of whom are Serbs.

In an interview to Strpce-based broadcaster Herc, Jevtic said that 79 incidents had been registered over the course of this year, and 10 attacks on the buildings belonging to the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo.

Jevtic that 79 incidents targeting Serbs had been registered in 2015, 10 of which attacks on churches, and described this as a devastating figure.

The highest number of incidents took place in the municipality of Klina – 17 attacks. This gives cause for concern, as it shows that there are people who think that, in this way, they will stir insecurity and fear among returnees and make them leave their homes again, Jevtic said.
